Kaz wants to be in Broadway

Kaz who recently returned to the country spent the better part of last year touring the US. She narrated a her ordeal with a promoter who dupped her into believing she was to perform at Barrack Obama’s inaugural ball.

Excited by the prospect of performing at such a great event Kaz organized her visa only to discover when she got to the airport that her ticket had not been paid for.

Since she has already gotten her visa, Kaz decided to travel to the U.S anyway. She managed to tour several states performing.

In an interview with Jimmy Gathu on Citizen’s breakfast show Kaz explain her plans to study music in the US with the aim of finally joining Broadway.

Background

Blu 3 kicked off their career after winning the Coca Cola Popstars competition in 2003. Blu 3 comprises of three ladies Lillian Mbabazi, Edith Baganda and Jackie Chandiru.

The group was nominated for Best Performer and Best Group at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards. The performed at the event held on October 10th.

David (Banker): In my opinion any company has their marketing style, and if this is what works well for EABL, so be it, I think it a concept well thought of

Noella (Student): Alpha is good, he has a superb voice and if it is a way of marketing themselves then I think it is a good one
