In Nakuru the exhibition includes the photo exhibition (both still and audio visual), counseling services (10 on site counselors), night caps (three sessions for inspiration), enterprise sessions (by equity bank, family bank, and the Kenya women finance trust) and hosted conversations (with five professional moderators).
Picha Mtaani is a youth initiative that seeks to engage the youth especially, in healing this country and finding lasting solutions to peace and reconciliation. Through the use photographs taken during the 2007 - 2008 post election violence.
Picha Mtaani will host street exhibitions in six towns in Kenya that bore the brunt of the violence and engage locals in self reflective dialogue.
Visitors to the exhibition will get the opportunity to sign up for the 'Pamoja Tunaweza Movement' an initiate that promotes peace.
